Creating banners and banner types
A project isn't limited to a single banner. You can create several, each with its own name, type, wording, and look, and then let geo rules decide which one each visitor sees.
Your banners list
In your project, open Banner Configuration → Customization. The screen lists every banner you've created, with who created it and when. Click a banner to open the customization editor for it.
Create a banner
Click Add New.
In the Create Banner dialog, enter a name and pick a banner type, then click Create Banner.
The four banner types
The type decides which buttons and fields the banner has:
GDPR (EU). An opt-in banner for strict regions, and the type the dialog preselects. Its consent buttons are always shown, as the regulation expects. This is the type we recommend when you use Google Consent Mode: its default text explains that data is collected for personalised advertising, links to how Google uses data, and offers an explicit Accept All button, which is what Google asks a consent banner to include. Step by step: Create a Google-ready banner.
Do Not Sell My Personal Information (US). An opt-out banner with a Do Not Sell button, built for US state privacy laws such as California's CCPA/CPRA.
Acknowledgment Only. A single Okay button for regions where you only need to inform visitors, not collect granular consent.
Standard Consent Banner. The full toolkit: Accept All, Reject All, and Manage Settings buttons, with visibility toggles for each. Pick it when you want full control over which buttons show.
Rename, retype, or delete
Use the actions on each row of the list to edit a banner's name and type or to delete it. Deleting a banner can't be undone, so check your geo rules aren't pointing at it first.
