Creating a workspace

A workspace is your top-level account in One Privacy. It holds your websites, your team, and your settings.

Most companies have one workspace. Agencies and groups with multiple businesses can have several.

When you'll see this

The first time you sign in, the Workspaces page is empty and a button invites you to create one.

You can create more workspaces later from the same page.

Create one

Click New Workspace.

The full flow: click New Workspace, fill in the name and domain, and your workspace is created.

Fill in two things:

Workspace name. This is just for you. Your company name works well. Between 2 and 50 characters.

Domain. The website you want to manage. Use the full address, in the form https://example.com.

Privacy policy URL (optional). The banner links to it. Leave it empty and the link stays hidden until you add one in Customization.

Set up banners and geo rules automatically. On by default. One Privacy creates and publishes a GDPR opt-in banner (EEA, UK, Switzerland), a Do Not Sell banner (US), and a notice banner (rest of the world), each with its geo rule, and takes you to the Scripts page. Turn it off to start from an empty project and build the banner yourself. See Geo rules overview.

Click Create Workspace.

Your workspace is set up and your website is added as the first project.

What happens next

You land back on the Workspaces page. Your new workspace shows your website with a Pending verification badge.

Click Verify now next to the website to confirm it's yours. The next page walks you through it.
